best baby monitor out there?

I'm finally going to try to get my son to sleep in his own room soon, although I am very nervous respect. I do not want to do that until you reach a very good baby monitor though. I had two in mind … safety 1 or high definition digital display or the day Summer Infant and night handheld color video monitor. that was very good reviews that these are im watching. Does anyone have any recommendations or comments?

I honestly do not need a video monitor. The best there is the Angel Care movement and sound monitor. It is about $ 100 and has a sensor platform in the crib mattress to detect movement. We used that one since our son was 4 weeks old! It allowed me to sleep better, knowing that if something were to happen, want to be alerted by the monitor (detected by the breath). In addition, I have always preferred to go to his room to check on it too (with monitor) … I liked seeing him in person rather than through a monitor.
