My wireless router is not working at home. I just bought a digital baby monitor. Could be the reason?

The wireless router is in the office and is connected wirelessly to our desktop computer, two laptops, and Tivo Series 2. Digital Baby Monitor is in kindergarten, about 25 feet (and two walls) of the router. The router is a Linksys router, and sits on the floor next to my Comcast cable modem. Because the router Wireless not working, we have no internet connection, nor can we watch TV (through our television) We called several of Comcast Sometimes they tell us that our router. We are nearing the end of our rope!

Try turning off the baby monitor. Then turn off all appliances in your (network PC, modem and router). Then, turn on all network devices and turn on your computer. If you are able to surf the net without any problem, then the monitor. If still not working, then connect the modem directly to your tower (without the router) to see if you can navigate. The baby monitor should have nothing to do with your cable though as the two are not related. You should find the complete problem solving above problems however.
