How do I get the smoky look for night and my eye color to pop during the day?

I have dark brown hair, blue eyes, and very pale skin. I try to find colors other than brown to wear to make my eyes pop for the day time and shadows for a smoky sexy look at night, but where do I begin? I eye lids are very oily, and the brown shadows look horrible after mid day. The colors seem to make my eyes look sunken in. What should I do and what brands last the longest?

dont use black makeup if your pale. try mink and cream colors.
you have to know how to use depth in makeup shadowing so work on that. and go to a local sephora for help
